Businesses may have a need to resolve a crisis or internal problem, solve organisational performance issues, assist in planning long-term organisation strategies, provide some analytical horsepower, help drive a change programme,  train staff, provide an objective review of organisational/human resource practices or help access best practice.

In response to these needs, we engage with clients through discovery and dialogue. We get a sense of what we think the problem is and then discuss this with you. Once there is agreement, we determine:

  1. What and how data needs to be collected
  2. How it will be analysed
  3. How it will best be reported to you
  4. What actions should be recommended

These steps are discussed with you progressively through the assignment with the intention that both parties remain informed and committed to the process.

Once we have a better understanding of the problem, and possibly some idea of solutions we will discuss next steps with you. Our experience is that many organisations have found issues around structure, roles, role relationships, relationships, systems, leadership expertise and culture at the heart of their need for outside help. Whatever the cause might be solutions are designed in conjunction with you to specifically address concerns identified in the analysis stage. We do not believe that "off-the-shelf" or "one-size" fits all programmes genuinely meet clients' needs, and therefore a significant effort is made to ensure solutions actually target the identified problem.

It is possible that the solution might have an immediate effect which would be a great outcome, but we believe the best solution is one that meets your needs over the long term.
